I've always thought that Autumn has a special smell and that the sky is a deeper shade of blue than Summer. Have you ever noticed that? One of my favorite Autumn memories is walking home from school, smelling the burning leaves as folks cleaned up their yards for the winter rest. Can you imagine that several generations have never smelled leaves burning? Ah, well...times change and we change with them.
Autumn is a time for change as we send the kids back to school and get out the warmer clothes and jackets. It's also a great time to buy or sell a home. If a new abode beckons before the holidays arrive, I'd love to be of assistance to help you meet your changing housing needs. I hope you always feel free to contact me with questions regarding the housing market.
Warm Regards,

By Jim Buchta
Economists have long said that 2013 would be the turning point for the housing recovery. If July is any indication, their predictions are dead-on.
Buyers snapped up more homes in July than in any month since mid-2006, according to the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors. There were 5,638 sales in the metro area, an 18 percent jump over July of last year.
