Thank you card from Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, CEO & Founder of Mary's Meals

THANK YOU!

A big THANK YOU to our CWA community for welcoming Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow and Mary's Meals, and collecting over $5,700 from students, families, and staff - enough to feed nearly 400 children for an entire year!

In addition, guests that attended our evening presentation donated over $1,200 - enough to feed another 85 children for an entire year!  There is no question that CWA will meet its goal of feeding at least 500 children this year ... please watch for more Mary's Meals events in the coming months. Let's all continue to say 'YES!' in support of this amazing cause.

Our NET Team Has Arrived!

We are happy to announce the upcoming arrival of seven NET missionaries who will be ministering this year at Clear Water Academy and other schools throughout the Christ the Redeemer School Division.

These dynamic young people have given up a year of work or university to share the Good News and be a witness for Christ. They will be working hard to support Clear Water Academy's mission of forming Christian leaders and supporting our four pillars in a variety of ways.

There are a number of short time slots from November to May where they will need to stay with host families. Please prayerfully consider hosting a couple of these young people at some point throughout the year.

For more information, please contact our Host Home Coordinator, Shari Tobias by EMAIL.

Jr. Kindergarten & Kindergarten Information Session Wed. Oct. 5th

Our first Jr. Kindergarten/Kindergarten Information Session for parents of prospective students will be on Wednesday, October 5th at 9:15 a.m.

We love when our current families refer their friends and/or family to visit our school and see what makes us so special. Please help spread the word! We have a FAMILY REFERRAL PROGRAM at our school.

To register, click on the button below. Feel free to share the registration link once opened.

Three of our Junior High Boys will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation shortly and they are working on a charitable project in preparation for this significant moment of their lives.

Alex, Ben, and Matthew will be working to collect items for St. Vincent de Paul. If you would like to support their efforts, there will be a collection box at the front reception of Bessborough Hall along with a poster where you can learn more about the project. They are looking for loonies, gift cards for perishable groceries (i.e. Safeway, COOP, Superstore, etc.), and diapers and baby food which will be forwarded to St. Vincent de Paul to distribute to those in need.

Thank you in advance for your blessings and support!

On Thursday, October 6th, Student Council will be organizing a "Fun Run" for all Grade 7-12 students. Students are asked to please bring in a donation which will be donated towards the John Paul II Medical Institute for cancer research. Junior/Senior High students are allowed to wear sweatpants on this day.

We look forward to our first event of the year!

Our Librarian, Mrs. Hutchinson, is in need of 2-3 parent volunteers to help her out in the library. If you can spare some of your time, please contact her by EMAIL.

Thank you!
