Soccer season is continuing along. Please follow schedules on www.cwacrusaders.com and stay in touch with your team's coach about arranging rides and pickup times from practices and games.
Track and Field
We have a number of Junior High students signed up to compete in the CISAA Track and Field Meet. It will be held on May 27 (some Grade 7 events in afternoon) and May 28 (majority). Parents of track athletes have received an information letter. If you have any questions, please let Mr. D'Angelo know. Event schedule will be sent home on Monday.
Outdoor Education
Parents/students are reminded that participation in outdoor education course is mandatory for all students unless an injury or safety concerned has been discussed with the teacher in advance. Students should adequately prepare for outdoor education class by bringing water and sunscreen. They must also be dressed for the weather and in Crusader clothing. All students must also have a swimsuit and towel on hand in case of inclement weather.

Night of the Crusader Athletic Awards - June 13
All athletes from this year are requested to attend the Night of the Crusader Athletic Awards on Friday June 13. Doors will open at 5:30PM with dinner served, followed by our athletic awards. All athletes were required to purchase a $20 banquet ticket when they played their first sport this year. Mr. D'Angelo will be following up with students who have not yet paid.
Parents can purchase tickets by visiting Mr. D'Angelo in the PE office for $20 each.
Coaching 2014-2015
As the calendar moves closer to June, Mr. D'Angelo will begin the preparations for the 2014-2015 calendar year.
Crusaders Athletics has student athletes compete in 9 different sports (Cross Country Running, Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Team Handball, Floor Hockey, Track and Field, and Soccer). We require lot's of help from the parent and extended CWA community in order for our programs to flourish. We are looking for committed, passionate, and knowledgeable coaches to design and implement quality programs congruent with the Mission of our school and Athletic Philosophy. Floor Hockey for Blake
A number of CWA staff, parents, and alumni will be playing in the "World's Longest Floor Hockey Game" June 27-30 in the CWA gym.
