 Hello

GOLF CLUBS

Do you have old golf clubs which are taking up space in your garage, shed, or basement? We pay relatively high rates to rent clubs for our students when we do golf activities in outdoor education. We would love to add some of our own clubs.  Please let Mr. D'Angelo know if you have any old clubs to donate.

All outdoor education classes for the duration of the school year will be held outside. All OE students please have a swimsuit and towel on hand in case of inclement weather.

Overnight trip dates are as follows:

Grade 9 Boys to Camp Kasota West - Sylvan Lake  Thursday May 23rd  Overnight

Grade 8 Girls Backpacking to Quaite Valley - Monday June 3rd Overnight

Grade 10's to Golden for White Water Rafting - Tuesday June 4th Overnight

LIVING OUR FAITH

Virtue of the Month: Fortitude

Saint of the Month: St. Athanasius

How is Mary a model of discipleship?  Of all those who came to know and follow Jesus as Lord, only his first disciple - Mary his Mother - would follow Him with perfect, pure, and unfailing faith.  It is in following Mary's example that we will find a deeper union with God as we seek eternal life.  "Let it be done to me according to your word."  This "fiat" became the model by which the faithful continue to serve.  By humbling ourselves before Him, by believing and trusting in a God we cannot see, by praying, "Lord, thy will be done," we are uttering our own fiat, and modelling the faith of Mary, who despite her fear, placed all her trust in God. (catholicdigest.com)  Mother Mary, please pray for all mothers that united to your son, Jesus, and through the gift of motherhood, they may find deeper union with God in their fiat. Amen.
