In This Issue
From the President's Desk
The first day of spring this month will bring new beginnings to many. That will include gardening. We spring forward in Daylight Savings Time.  March Madness kicks off in basketball and St. Patrick's Day will be celebrated. Easter Sunday is the last Sunday in March. It is a busy month.  We hope and pray that each of you might be blessed with safety and wisdom in your approaches in life. We are hopeful that prayers asking heaven for more rain will be answered. We remember the Year of Mercy in the Christian world and we recognize so many good things happening in all faith traditions. I read recently that a survey said less than 40% of all people in the Greater Sacramento area report that they are religious. I'm hopeful that will change and our numbers will increase. Peace to all. Godspeed in your worthy endeavors. Let us remember one another now more than ever.
News from The Village on North C Street - New Friendship Park
The building of the New Friendship Park is going gangbusters as buildings and foundations are going up. Much to do about providing better services for the homeless occupies much time and resource in our community. We trust that all will reach out and help in this venue of our community. Many are in need of our help.
