What's New at SacFaith TV

We continue to broaden our viewership and the programs presented on our faith channel.  Many new faiths and their programming needs have been funneling in. If you are interested in getting your church on TV for the benefit of those who cannot - or may not attend your live services - please contact Ron Hermann at 916-519-0577 and he will meet you to discuss particulars.

Sacramento Faith TV (formerly the Religious Coalition for Cable Television - RCCTV) provides faith and values programming from both local and national sources 24 hours a day on Cable Channels 20 (Comcast) and 19 (SureWest) in Sacramento County. The local programming is also available through simulcasting on sacramentofaithtv.org.

"30 Minutes of Faith" show interviews with faith leaders throughout our region and the topics of discussion between Jon Fish and his guests is enlightening and informative.  Please note the following schedule changes: Monday 7am and 7:30pm / Wed. 9pm / Fri. 6pm / Sun. 9pm
You can also watch "30 Minutes of Faith" on YouTube.

News from The Village on North C Street - HERS Project
Much has unfolded in the way of goodness for Thanksgiving ... with much more planned for the Christmas season. Once again the HERS Project is trying to be resurrected. Homeless Emergency Relief Shelter will be geared mostly for women and children there while additional needs for the men are planned. Several key players in all of this are working diligently to make it come to fruition.

May Mercy Prevail on Earth

Interfaith Evening of Prayer - Christ the King Passionist Retreat Center

The Passionist Religious Community of Citrus Heights joins with the Interfaith/Ecumenical community of Greater Sacramento as together we offer prayers and blessings for a more merciful World.

We gather as Francis, Bishop of Rome, inaugurates the Year of Mercy.  All of our Faith Traditions have something important to say about mercy. Tonight we gather to glean the wisdom of those Traditions as we seek to be a people of mercy, compassion, and respect.

From the President's Desk
ICGS President Jon Fish writes:

As we approach the many faith-based holiday seasons we wish everyone a happy time of it filled with affections, respect, love and goodness.  We hope and pray that families can spend time together and that our houses of worship will be filled to praise God and give thanks.  Our warmest and best wishes to you and yours this holiday season.
Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. Happy Kwanzaa.  And blessings to all as we come to the end of 2015 and look forward to 2016. Keep the faith in your lives.
