WELCOME BACK FROM SPRING BREAK! HERE'S TO SPRING AND WARMER WEATHER!

Re-Enrollment Contracts
Thanks to many of you for your prompt response to our request for re-enrollment paperwork to be submitted by March 7 and for re-enrollment contracts to be submitted by yesterday (March 17)!  We have a lot of prospective interest in casita and elementary and are sending out contracts to those families today.  So, If you haven't had a chance to get your contracts in and reserve a space for your child,  please do so ASAP. You will have until April 15 to withdraw your child if your plans change for some reason.

Summer Camp Registration
Is available on-line this year.  We still have space, but this too will fill up quickly as we can accommodate 12 casita children per week, 30 children's house students and 15 elementary students.   Crystal also has hard copy forms at the front desk.

Around Campus

Our next community event will be an art show on Thursday, May 8 from 7 - 8:30 at the Georgetown Community Center.  Victoria Ortega, owner of Open Art:  www.open2art.com,  has been our resident artist this year and has been a phenomenal presence on campus.  Her focus has been on helping the children find their inner artist and to become comfortable with creative expression through visual arts.   Also, one of our current parents, Paul Van Rensburg, will be playing with his band at the event.  To get a taste of his music, he is opening for Johnny Clegg at the One World Theatre tomorrow:  March 19!  A taste of the art pieces you will see on the 8th of May....and stay tuned for more of this!

An Elementary Student Writes to Google:
Zoe Bosher entered the Dooddle 4 Google Contest and is asking Google to consider a website, BOOKWEB, which could be a world wide book club. Good luck Zoe!

Upcoming Parent-Education Event
We have invited Horseboy (of Elgin) to come to our school on Saturday, March 29 to share this movie about a family's journey on horseback in pursuit of a positive and proactive treatment for autism.  This event will begin at 5 pm and last an hour or so.  We will be offering childcare for the movie screening.  Afterwards, we will invite the children to see the horses.  Save the date.  Jody French is sponsoring this event - please register to attend.

Board Meeting:  Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19 at 6:30: Georgetown Public Library.
