ANNUAL PIANO RECITAL

Please join Alice Hagelgans and her students for their annual piano recital in the sanctuary of Zion Church.  Last year we had a full house.  Let's do it again.

This year's recital will be on Friday, April 25 at 7:00 pm.  Please come to hear the incredible talents of this community's young persons. You won't be disappointed!

SILENT SANCTUARY

Do you enjoy the aroma of candles? Do you enjoy the setting sun through stained glass windows? Do you like watching the flickering of candlelight against the darkness? Do you like the thought of quiet meditation/prayer?

Please feel free to join Skylar Seward Friday, May 2
and every Friday evening at 7:00 pm. for a quiet,"soul refreshing" time of renewal. Please note that Silent Sanctuary for Friday, April 25 has been cancelled.

Stay for 10 minutes, an hour or even two...whatever you need.  Hope to see you there.

ALL are WELCOME!

4th Annual Family
Promise Italian Dinner

Pastor Pete and Mike are looking for company to join them for the 4th Annual Italian Dinner to benefit Family Promise.  Bo Reed, chef at the Delaware Community Market and former chef at the iconic Pizza Villa will prepare a tasty authentic Italian dinner for your pleasure.

We will gather at Zion at 5:45 on Tuesday, April 29 and (weather permitting) walk to St Mary Catholic Church for the dinner.  For those who would rather drive to St. Mary, we will meet you there.

Save the date!  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students 12 and younger.  Carryout is available if you want to take some special treats home for you or another.  There will also be a Silent Auction.

MOM Reports Need at Promise House

Our Ministers of Mission (MOM) have reported to us a particular need at Promise House.  Promise House desperately needs paper products!  If you are able and willing, please bring toilet paper, paper towels or napkins to church on Sunday so that we may pass along part of God's abundance to our brothers and sisters in need. Thank you!!

This Week at Zion

The message on Sunday will be offered by Rev. Matthew Wilson.  It is titled Jonah and the April Ghost. Our Scripture Readings are 1 Peter 1:3-9 and also Acts 2:14-24.
