MOM Reports Need at Promise House

Our Ministers of Mission (MOM) have reported to us a particular need at Promise House.  Promise House desperately needs paper products!  If you are able and willing, please bring toilet paper, paper towels or napkins to church on Sunday so that we may pass along part of God's abundance to our brothers and sisters in need. Thank you!!

SPRING CONCERT!
Delaware Community Chorus

It is SPRING and the Delaware Community Chorus will present a concert celebrating its arrival.  Love Is In the Air will reveal how the feelings of love have been expressed in music and words thru the centuries from Gregorian chant to Broadway shows.  Selections by Brahms, Gershwin, Berlin and Stephen Foster will be featured.

Please join us in the celebration of Love and Spring by attending one of our two programs on May 4 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.  Performances are at 3 and 5 PM.  Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from a chorus member (John or Antoinette Miller or Alice Hagelgans).

4th Annual Family
Promise Italian Dinner

Pastor Pete and Mike are looking for company to join them for the 4th Annual Italian Dinner to benefit Family Promise.  Bo Reed, chef at the Delaware Community Market and former chef at the iconic Pizza Villa will prepare a tasty authentic Italian dinner for your pleasure.

We will gather at Zion at 5:45 on Tuesday, April 29 and (weather permitting) walk to St Mary Catholic Church for the dinner.  For those who would rather drive to St. Mary, we will meet you there.

Save the date!  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students 12 and younger.  Carryout is available if you want to take some special treats home for you or another.  There will also be a Silent Auction.

BOOK SIGNING

There will be a community book signing on April 25.  Andrews House will host local author David Maclean who will sign his recent work The Answer to the Riddle Is Me.

The community will gather at 7:00 for this joyous and important event.

Well Done Good and Faithful Servants!

You've Done It Again Zion!

Another Banner month for the WOW wagon.  123 pounds of donated food and taxable items in March.  Special thank you shout out to Gary Stout who made a generous contribution of a wide variety of toiletries.  We are well on our way to breaking last year's record of 1096 pounds and exceeding this year's goal of 1250.  Keep it up!!
