Zion's own Bob Irvin will be inducted into the Delaware County Agricultural Hall of Fame on Monday September 16.

Take a moment on Sunday to congratulate Bob on this significant recognition.  It is long overdue!!

One of the Zion highlights of each fall is our annual trip to Miller's Country Gardens for our seasonal hayride.

This year's Zion Fall Hayride will be on September 29 after our Blessing of the Animals at Zion.

Bring your favorite dish!  Always a great time with Miller hospitality!

This year's CropWalk is scheduled for October 6.  Zion has been a consistent supporter of this important effort which raises funds to fight hunger. Twenty-five percent (25%) of the proceeds go directly to People In Need (PIN).

The money raised is important, yes.  But equally important is the walk where we share our support with other members of Delaware's faith community. Please walk with us!!

Here is how to join up with Team Zion.  You might want to walk.  You might want to contribute.  You might want to do both. Here is what to do online to support the effort!

Bring your animal companions to church on Sunday September 29.

We hope the weather permits us to hold an outside service on that day; our first outdoor service of the year.

After celebrating the companionship we share with our animal friends, we will adjourn to Miller's Country Gardens for our Annual Hayride.

What a joy to welcome Brinley Alyse Hauff into Christian community at Zion last Saturday!

Present were four generations of Brinley's family.

Pastor Pete officiated the baptism with Brinley's great grandfather, who had also baptized Brinley's mother.

Pictured are proud grandparents (Gus and Doreen) and parents (Eric and Alyssa) with precious little Brinley.

Good news!  Our Saturday morning new members class for 2013 has begun.  We will meet on Saturdays until Founders Day (October 13) when new members will be welcomed into the church at Zion. For those unable to make the Saturday morning class, we will also be meeting at 11:30 each Sunday after worship. Please let Pastor Pete know if you are interested in participating in the class and becoming a member of Zion.  

Come and enjoy a cup of coffee, some church chatter and wonderful fellowship with your friends.  We might even throw in some bagels!!
