New Members Class
We are so pleased attendance has increased so dramatically at Zion over the past year. Conversations with those new to Zion have indicated many new attendees would like to become members of Zion.
Good news! Our Saturday morning new members class for 2013 will begin on September 7 at 9:30 in the morning. We will meet up on Saturdays until Founders Day (October 13) when new members will be welcomed into the church at Zion. Please let Pastor Pete know if you are interested in participating in the class and becoming a member of Zion.
Come and enjoy a cup of coffee, some church chatter and wonderful fellowship with your friends. We might even throw in some bagels!!

 Another Great Month of Giving In the Wagon
We had another tremendous outpouring of support for People In Need (PIN) last month. We collected 91 pounds of food and taxable items for PIN. This brings our annual total to date up to 568 pounds.
As you know, our goal this year is 1,000 pounds and we are on track to accomplish our goal at this time.
At this time PIN is in particular need of canned fruit and boxes of saltine crackers. Please don't forget to grab some item out of the pantry on your way to church on Sunday. Thank You!

Apostle Build III
The Apostle Build III groundbreaking is scheduled for August 24 (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m. (47 High Street in Delaware). We hope you will attend. We are so excited to expand our ministries at Zion to include this Habitat project which will partner Zion with other area churches.
We are now accepting donations for Apostle Build III. We have already raised $2,000 of the $3,000 Zion has committed to the project. Not only are we raising funds to support this important project. We also hope members are excited about working on the site. Liberty Presbyterian Church is hosting the Walls Build on Saturday, September 7 at 8:30 a.m. Please let us know if you are interested in helping to build the walls of our Apostle Build Habitat Home and we'll hook you up.
