Yay...we received a lot of press regarding the animations we created for the new Las Vegas attraction, the Hi Linq roller. The world's tallest ferris wheel will officially open this memorial day.  In the entrance area we have two super-wide scale projections, one called "Elvis" (re-formatted version) and one called "Dancers", more info here:

A feature article about Viva Design's work is in the SB Newspress (live-style section) today, please check it out when you have a chance.

Do you want to know why you need to be an artist, live or die? Even if you decide to be a lawyer, doctor or plumber? I will talk about why creating art and being an artist is a must in the new connection economy (at least according to Seth Godin, who always knows everything:). After reading that book I have a new definition of "artist". The talk will be at the ever classic fishbon salon today. Be there. I count on you.

Vivakids is part of Viva Design studios, a lab and think tank where designers, artists and kids work together in multiple ways to express creativity.  We stimulate divergent thinking by using one topic at a time (for example the Alphabet) and generate many different ideas about the topic.
Kids learn the use of stopmotion animation as creative tool and an excellent exercise in persistence and staying in the moment.
Vivakids' DVDs and ipad apps are must-have learning tools for your thriving child today.
