Susan grew up on the East Coast and after graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in Education she took flight as a Pan American Airways flight attendant before beginning her first career as an educator for the San Francisco Unified School District.

Desiring another challenge, Susan became a realtor in 1986 specializing in residential real estate sales.  In 1999 Susan and her husband followed their dream and moved to the Monterey Peninsula where Susan joined Alain Pinel Realtors/Carmel who have repeatedly honored her as one of their top producing agents. 

Constantly upgrading her skills she participated in Leadership Monterey Peninsula 2014; is involved in a Bay Area Business Coaching Group concentrating on negotiation and sales skills; and is an Alain Pinel Relocation & Global RE Specialist.  Currently she is participating in the Stanford University Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate Program.  She is active in many community and realtor groups and is the Charter President of the Monterey Peninsula Women's Council of Realtors.

Presidents Message 

Hello PWN Tribe,

I feel like I'm winding down AND winding up as the 2015 President of PWN of the Monterey Peninsula.  We just completed our Charitable Giving; our 2016 Board of Directors has been voted in; I just completed my last formal evening meeting; and we are getting new members at every event!

Doris Beckman won't the prize for bringing the most guest to our October meeting.  THANK YOU DORIS.

Now the winding up...

We have the Expo on November 4th, and I know that Jen Harty's whole committee is working very hard; the Woman of the year (WOTY) event is being worked on as we speak; and oh wait, I'm off to Hawaii and then New Orleans.  

Some additional events you can catch before the end of the year are our famous Coffee Talks on the 4th Tuesdays of the upcoming months and our legendary Networking lunches on the 3rd Thursdays.

I know I have given you a lot of information because I don't want you to miss out on anything.

Please join Laurie Bend, PWN Vice President and this month's co-host, TBD, for a cup of coffee or tea and chat on any topic you want to discuss Tuesday, November 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Peet's Coffee in Monterey, 560 Munras. Have questions about networking? Want to share more about you and your business? Do you want to brainstorm about business success strategies? Curious about fun activities on the peninsula? Any and all topics welcomed; PWN related or not!

Please note schedule variation... "Coffee Talks" are planned for the 4th Tuesday during the months of November and December between 1 and 2 p.m.  We will resume our normal 4th Thursday of the month schedule in 2016.

Drop by if you have some time for a coffee or tea and an informal chat on a personal level.

We are looking for members who would like to host each monthly "Coffee Talk." All you need to do is be willing to host the chat at Peet's and share an hour of your time!
