PLATINUM BLONDE HEADLINES
PRODUCTION WORLD LAUNCH & XMAS PARTY

It was quite the party and it was also the official launch of Production World.  Platinum Blonde headlined.  Other performances included the Fab Four from California, local act Holle, as well as impersonators from Vegas including an uncanny Ed Sullivan.

And then, of course, there were the party goers!

I need to fix your hair!

 I finally found the bar!

 What bar?

 He's holding me up.

 Are you talking to me?

Being closer to the ground has its advantages.

I thought you said this was a Tupperware party.

It's a new world allright!  And we're gonna kick some axe.

If the new name doesn't work out, we always can work as  a band?

Really?  Jack Nicholson?

Deck the halls with Holle!

WELCOME TO PRODUCTION WORLD
A NEW BRAND AND A NEW WORLD FOR
AXE PRODUCTIONS
Logo

After a historic 13-year run under the name AXE Productions, Jon Beckett and Kelly Kimo (co-founders) negotiated the final buy out of two additional shareholders to take full ownership of Edmonton's most prolific production company.  The first order of business was to rebrand the company as Production World, boasting a new logo, website, social media identities and much more.

"It simply was time", says Jon Beckett, President, who coined the new name. "We've grown substantially as a company, expanding our production inventory, client base, project flow, and our staff. We added a comprehensive audio and video production suite with green screen capabilities, which is now producing audio and video for television, radio, and corporate projects.  It was a natural extension of our live production services and we have been fortunate to attract some of the most experienced people in the business as a result. We're just getting started."

Production World's first major project under the new name is the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree, being produced for John Cameron Entertainment at the Jubilee.  Next up is the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce Ball on January 31st featuring the Broadway sensation, "Rain", a tribute to the Beatles.  At the recent Christmas Party hosted by Production World, Trixstar Productions and John Cameron Entertainment, close to 400 people from media, major corporations and many others celebrated the Production World launch featuring performances from Platinum Blonde, the Fab Four from California and local sensations, Holle.

"It was more than a launch", says Kelly Kimo, Vice President.  "Many of our clients are friends.  It was our way of thanking them  and sharing our success, which, without them, would never have  happened."

The party may be over, but the excitement continues into 2014.  It's definitely a new world for the most celebrated live production company in the region.
