MTG 2015 Year In Review

"Secret" Star Wars Fundraiser for YANA

My Tech Guys are proud to announce a 'secret' YANA fundraiser they held Sunday Dec 20th.  "Because of the strict rules Disney has for Star Wars we were not allowed to talk about the event except to those that were invited.  It made it even more exciting!!" says Bob Wells, owner of My Tech Guys.

The event started as a discussion at a staff meeting for all the staff to go to the first showing of Star Wars. As it turned out, the opening show would be the evening after Bob Wells' daughter Megan was scheduled to have dental surgery, after she had over a dozen visits to specialists in 2015.

Customer Service Award Nomination
A huge thanks to all of our customers for the Customer Service nomination for owner of My Tech Guys and chief road technician, Bob Wells; in the 2015 Comox Valley Chamber Awards!!!

A big kudos to all of our staff and our 16,000 that have supported our local business for over the last 9 years. It really keeps us motivated focus on customer service and to be the best. We won't find out who wins until the new year but watch this space in January for more.

Updates, Don't Forget
Most of us are familiar with the little pop-ups we get asking us to install updates.  While they only take a few minutes to complete, many of us are guilty of postponing them or just ignoring them completely. But keeping up with these computer updates is actually very important when it comes to having a healthy and secure computer. These updates are just as important as having an anti-virus program. Sometimes the automagic updates can fail so we suggest checking to make sure you have the latest versions of the following once a month.
