My Tech Guys is proud to be a major sponsor for the Federal Courtenay - Alberni Riding debate being held at the Sid Williams Theatre. We will be Live Streaming the debate Monday Oct 5 starting at 6pm and we will host the video on demand on our web site as soon as the debate finishes. Prestige Video will be running the cameras as usual and Shaw Business will be providing high speed connection to let us stream.

Halloween is many of our geek's favorite time of year and we'll be decorating both the Courtenay and Comox store in the lead up to the big day. As the cobwebs go up in the windows be sure to bring your computers in to have the cobwebs removed and generally sweeten the whole thing up!

A cleaning can help your PC run faster and increase it's lifespan! No need to give the kids your old Windows 7 machine when the come to the door - Bring it to us and let us bring it back from the dead while helping yourself to a ghoulish snack for the season.

The YANA Kids' Clutter Sale is a semi-annual event that occurs in the Spring and Fall. This event has grown over the years and offers local families the opportunity to either buy and/or sell gently used children's clothing, toys and equipment.

Updates, Don't Forget
Most of us are familiar with the little pop-ups we get asking us to install updates.  While they only take a few minutes to complete, many of us are guilty of postponing them or just ignoring them completely. But keeping up with these computer updates is actually very important when it comes to having a healthy and secure computer. These updates are just as important as having an anti-virus program. Sometimes the automagic updates can fail so we suggest checking to make sure you have the latest versions of the following once a month.
