1st Comox Beavers @ MTG

On Monday February 16 the geeks at the My Tech Guys store in Courtenay were visited by the 1st Comox Beaver colony to further their lessons about computers.

"It was so much fun having the kids come out and see the shop, ask questions, play with broken computers and the hightlight of the night was sitting in the MTG Company cars" said Bryan Tisale, Regional Manager and Scout Leader volunteer.

We even got to have the Numb3rs geek, Kyle Corey, come out and answer all the questions that the little Beavers had.

MTG Supports Dawn to Dawn
"Dawn to Dawn is a non-profit, residential housing program that makes transitional housing possible in the Comox Valley.  We provide homeless individuals and families with access to housing that gets them (or keeps them) off the streets."

This is a phenomenal local charity that we are very proud to support and help to raise funds for this great local initiative  We are supporting them again this year by being a location to purchase one of the three colour styled toques and this year their newly added socks. For only $10 you can stay warm and help others in our community stay warm too.

Stop by either our Comox or Courtenay store location to purchase your toque today...for more information click here.

But keeping up with these computer updates is actually very important when it comes to having a healthy and secure computer. These updates are just as important as having an anti-virus program. Sometimes the automagic updates can fail so we suggest checking to make sure you have the latest versions of the following once a month.

Some of the most common updates are:

If you have any questions or feel its been awhile since you've done any updates, call us and book a in-home service call or remote service call 250-890-1065
