Cumberland Museum

For those of you who have not been to the Cumberland museum in the past few months will want to RUN (don't walk) to check out the new People's History exhibit which has 4 personalized tour guides you access through the kiosks throughout the museum. This interactive presentation lets visitors choose the guide they want, then have various aspects of Cumberland's history explained from the point of view of historical figures.

My Tech Guys was happy to be able to help support the project as well as donate our time to assist the Cumberland Museum tackle some of its technical challenges (including sound system, website, email and computer glitches).

Race Around Denman Island
|
 On September 6th and 7th I had the pleasure of my first keelboat race around Denman Island. This was not only awesome because we won (which is always nice), but we had a great skipper, Andrew Walther, and phenominal crew consisting of Jen, Julia and Jon. My job title was "Rail Meat" helping keep the sailboat level, as well as assisting with jibes and tacks, grinding and of course learning new words so I could understand what was being asked of me.
