Friendly Reminder Program and Backup Monitoring

What is the Friendly Reminder Program?

Well, it is a preventative maintenance program designed to add longevity to your computer system.  This can be done in 2 ways:

1) REMOTELY: Call you and connect into your computer to update your software for security, check on your security protection and backups, check for errors, and cleanup unneeded programs running on your computer.

2) ONSITE: Come to you and dust out and physically examine your computer, check for failing hard drive, update your software for security, check on your security protection and backups, check for errors, and cleanup unneeded programs running on your computer. (This option can also be done in-store)

Smartphone Charging Tent

smartphone  My Tech Guys is proud to announce that we raised $529.50 at our Smart Phone Charging Tent at Vancouver Island MusicFest 2014.

This was our second year offering this "by donation" service to over 30,000 attendees along with some product sales of solar panel battery chargers, rugged Bluetooth rechargeable speakers and durable phone cases to help prevent drop damage. The feedback from the festival goers was extremely positive and grateful and we are so proud to support YANA.

But keeping up with these computer updates is actually very important when it comes to having a healthy and secure computer. These updates are just as important as having an anti-virus program. Sometimes the automagic updates can fail so we suggest checking to make sure you have the latest versions of the following once a month.

Some of the most common updates are:
