Child Development Telethon November 3rd
My Tech Guys are once again proud to be supporting 38th Comox Valley Child Development Telethon at their new venue in the Sid Williams Theatre with a partnership with Shaw Business.
We will be streaming the event live on our website for all you folks that can't make it down to the theatre to watch it live and will archive it on our site to watch in the future.
Bob Wells is working extremely (as he is the Extreme Geek) hard to get all the geeky stuff ready for the event with Brian Bailey our Climbing Geek. We also are so proud of Frank Biermann who is stepping up to help man the phones at this years event as well...so keep an eye out for our Recycled Geek.
Check out more about the CVCDA and the great work they do.

Windows 8.1 Released
Windows 8 has had the biggest change since it was released just over a year ago with Windows 8 Service Pack 1. We are recommending people be cautious and backup all data before attempting to install the Service Pack. Although it will bring back the start button, it still lacks the functionality of Windows 7 or XP for most of our customers.
Wondering if you should update or want to know how to get Windows 8 to work like Windows 7 or XP, give us a call.
If you have not seen Windows 8, here is a little background to get you up to speed.
