My Tech Guys will be out supporting Y.A.N.A. again
|
My Tech Guys is so proud to be helping out with this amazing auction night on March 8th, 2013 that helps raise money to support local families and their children in need.
For over 5 years we have provided support with IT stuff, setting up projectors, and processing of the Credit Card purchases form the auction. The event is now sold out and we wish them all the best with the event.
"As a member of the community that has used this amazing organization, I am so happy to provide any support to Anita and YANA", says Regional Manager, Bryan Tisdale.

Donation Drop off Centre for Retired Systems
|
For over 6 years My Tech Guys has been taking computers with life still left in them and re-purposing them for non-profits like YANA. CompuCycle in Cumberland used to do this but when Encorp took over the idea of fixing up old computers was not in their plans and the program ended.
"It felt great to take something one person had no more use for and be able to fix it up so it had value for someone else. Keeping useful computers out of the landfill was win-win" says Frank Biermann, former CompuCycle manager and current My Tech Guys Comox store Sales Manager.
My Tech Guys are happy to deal with your unneeded computer equipment through our Re-Purpose Program. We will review and determine which option will be the best for your donated equipment:
- Donate to a local non-profit organization
- Resold with proceeds going to a local non-profit organization
- We will recycle system for you after removing your hard drive

Help us with Children's Wish Foundation
|
My Tech Guys is very excited to be join in helping raise money for a local Comox child in making his wish come true. On March 28th, Nelson from Comox and his family will get a chance to spend some quality time together in Hawaii away from hospital visits and treatments. When asked why a wish was important, Nelson's dad said: "During Nelson's treatment two things kept him going. One was remembering good times, fishing on the Stikine River, his friends and our dog. The other was looking ahead and planning his wish. Spending his time planning and dreaming of his wish took his mind off the challenges of chemo. This trip is the light at the end of the tunnel" So all month long in March, we will be donating $2 for every service call booked this month, so help us help Nelson and call us today for an in home visit. If you would like to donate further, please click on the here.
