St. Stephen's Weekly Touchstone
The Second Sunday after the Epiphany
January 15, 2012

Thought of the Week

Did you know that the vestry begins and ends every meeting in prayer?  In fact, every meeting closes with one of our vestry members leading an evening prayer service called Compline.  This short service is a wonderful way to close the day and can be used in all sorts of settings.  If you would like to try something new to further develop your prayer life at home, I encourage you to try praying Compline with your family at night before you go to bed.  It can be found on page 127 of the Book of Common Prayer.  If you don't have a Book of Common Prayer, please let me know on Sunday I and the church can loan you one.   I will be praying for you and your spiritual growth and development every night!

See you in church,

Fr. Josh

Mark your calendars! Breakfast will follow.
