College Degrees are Required in the Workplace now, more than ever.

According to a recent New York Times article, jobs that previously did not require college degrees such as file clerks, are now having the bar raised on them. Employers note that employees with college degrees, no matter their position in the company, are simply more "career oriented" and are therefore more employable.

The unemployment rate for people with college degrees versus high school degree is drastic: 3.7% versus 8.1%, respectively. The articles notes that increased competition for the few available jobs allows employers to be more picky, choosing candidates with the most experience and the highest level of education.

Get your college degree today - contact a CMVE educational adviser to find out the best degree to lead you to the career path you have in mind.
