The Bible Mini-Series Begins This Sunday
Have you ever tried to picture what Noah's family experienced during the flood? What it looked like when Samson destroyed the temple? How it felt to be present when the wise men knelt before Jesus? As we study God's Word, it's helpful to understand the context in which these events took place. The Bible mini-series is the greatest visualization of the Bible we've ever seen. From Genesis to Revelation, this five-part series combines a powerful collection of stories with live action and truly amazing computer-generated graphics.* Watch The Bible mini-series series on the History Channel beginning this Sunday evening, March 3 at 8:00 PM. Click here for more information.

Friday Kid's Pak Donations Needed This Saturday
There are presently over 2,100 homeless children attending public school in Broward County. These homeless children are fed in school, however many leave school on Friday not knowing if they will eat a meal before they return on Monday morning. As a church we have decided that we want to do something about this.
We have talked with the two schools closest to us - Challenger Elementary and Millennium Middle School - about helping to provide food for the weekend for the 38 homeless children presently enrolled there. As a part of Community Impact, we are launching a new program called Friday Kid's Pak. Each Friday during the school year, homeless students will be provided a bag containing food for the weekend. To make this happen, however, we need your help.
Click here for the list of items needed for the Friday Kid's Pak program. Please consider printing off this list and take with you the next time you're shopping and pick-up some of the single-serve food items that will be packed in the Friday Kid's Paks. Drop off your Friday Kid's Pak donations at Community Impact this Saturday morning, March 2. Together we can make a huge difference in the lives of at-risk kids in our community.
