July 5, 2016 Finger Lakes Connected

It is July. After school is out in June, I go through a bit of denial, resisting all the changes that come with this and three kids. July is the month of acceptance where I realize it's healthier to go with the flow and fall into the groove of summer. I grab the little doses of bonding time that surface with each child as their schedule allows and fit in my stuff in the spaces in between.  Then, August I really feel myself enjoying the moments of summer and "less is more" scheduling of activities, right before it all changes back to what it was before with all the structure of school. Ebb and Flow. It's kind of what life is.
