Feb 23, 2016 Finger Lakes Connected Enewsletter
As much as sunny Florida ROCKED, it is always good to return home. Yes, even when your driveway has been plowed in to the point of no-entry with 18" inches of snow. The funny thing is, I had a "told you so" moment with my teenager who insisted on wearing the flip flops in the airplane. Even when we landed in the aftermath of the snowstorm, I tried (unsuccessfully) to get her to change into her sneakers at baggage claim. Lets just say that 'mother knows best' now has a new meaning.  Will she listen next time? I'm not so sure that answer is yes - even with cold toes trudging through the backyard snow with luggage!  BRRRRRR!

Digestive Health - Heartburn
Everyone has suffered at one time or another with heartburn (also known as acid indigestion) which is a painful, burning feeling in the middle of your chest or the upper part of your stomach. The pain can be momentary or stick with you for hours. Lifestyle changes can help reduce heartburn, but there are over-the-counter medications that can help treat heartburn on a short-term basis.

There are 3 different classes of medications - Antacids, H2 Blockers such as Zantac, or Proton-Pump Inhibitors such as Nexium or Omeprazole. Each drug class works differently, as well as how fast they start working, and how long the effects last. Call (585) 396-9970 or stop into Canandaigua The Medicine Shoppe  (66 West Ave) to talk to our knowledgeable staff and start getting relief today.
