Important Questions for Your Pharmacist
A visit to your local pharmacy can be more than just a quick stop to pick up your prescription or over the counter medication. It is also a convenient time to have a conversation with your pharmacist about your medications. Pharmacists are trained to help patients manage medications and be the primary source of information - not the Internet.
Questions to ask the Pharmacist:
1, What is the name of the medication and what is it supposed to do?
2. When and how do I take it?
3. What are possible side effects and what should I do if they occur?
4. Will the new medicine work safely with the other medications and supplements that I take?
5. What foods, beverages or activities should I avoid while taking a new medication?
Stop into the only independent pharmacy Canandaigua The Medicine Shoppe to talk to our professional and knowledgeable pharmacist staff-Julie English/Kayla Loosmore.
