Jan 26, 2015 Finger Lakes Connected Enewsletter
What started out as a girls' Colorado ski trip ended as a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a Manning/Brady matchup.  The snowstorm in the DC area cancelled the flight home and Stubhub.com was visited at the last minute to get seats for one incredible game. Each seat was donned with an orange pom pom (which I will be using for the Superbowl because I think they will need a lot of cheering). And, of course, I will recycle for Syracuse basketball games. Colorado is a gorgeous state with Rocky Mountain air, laid back and hospitable people, and a general 'life is good' kind of attitude. As much as I loved the trip, it is always great to come home. I was gone 5.5 days, but the kids look taller and older and I don't remember my bed ever being as comfortable as it was when my head finally hit that pillow.  Ahhhhh....Go Broncos! I always root for the underdogs.
Enjoy this week's Finger Lakes Connected!

Blue Skies, Donna Bennett

Like to sing? You can do that and raise money for a good cause

The Finger Lakes Chorale, hosted by Finger Lakes Community College, is seeking singers for its spring performances of Daniel Forrest's "Requiem for the Living."
All voices are welcome, but tenors and basses in particular are encouraged to join this community chorus for concerts on May 14 and 15 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Canandaigua.

The Finger Lakes Chorale rehearses on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning Jan. 26, at the FLCC main campus, 3325 Marvin Sands Drive, room 3275 on the third floor (formerly B355).

Donations collected at chorale concerts fund scholarships for FLCC students. In the last year, the singers have raised nearly $5,000. Registration will be held prior to rehearsal on Jan. 26 through Feb. 9. A $5 non-credit fee is payable at that time. Read more here.

Need a Multivitamin?
Consider these points - A daily multivitamin can provide nutritional back-up for a
less-than-ideal diet by supplying important nutrients. Cover your bases with a multivitamin that provides
close to the daily value for most vitamins and essential minerals. Look for a multivitamin that supplies
the six essential nutrients people don't get enough from food alone (Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamins A, C, D, and E). Choose a formula for your age and gender so that the nutrients included will be right for you. If you are over 50 years of age consider a senior formula which will give you nutrients that aid in heart health, brain health and eye health. Stop by Canandaigua The Medicine Shoppe and talk to our knowledgeable staff about the vitamin that is
right for you.
