The dictionary defines Indian Summer two ways:
1. Unusually dry, warm weather in Autumn, sometimes after a frost and
2. A period of happiness or success occurring late in life.

I'LL TAKE EITHER! Or both, for that matter. Although, the word "late" in the second definition is relative. I mean, who is to know when it is "late" in our lives, anyway? I've never been one to relate well to conventional methods of measurement. Happy Indian Summer, everyone! Enjoy it while we can!

Donna Bennett

Our board has decided NOT to resubmit our proposal this year. Thank you to all the interested parents, supporters and volunteers we did have. Because it was recommended to us to start as only a K-2 (and delay until 2017), we lost support of families we had all along and found it challenging to reach parents of younger children, which would comprise our enrollment demographic.  If you are a parent or person with connections to this younger family population and are interested in helping with this endeavor in the future, please email us.
