June 9, 2015 Canandaigua Connected ENewsletter

This is that crazy time of year with end of school picnics, field trips and of course, the summer birthday celebrations. My three kids were all August babies so on top of all the craziness, I get to make (buy) treats and remember to bring them in on the appropriately designated day this month. I'm reminded of last year at this time when my daughter begged me to make brownies. I said, "Tops makes a really great cookie cake, you know." It didn't work because she wanted homemade brownies. I followed the recipe - check. I put them in the oven - check and then I just went over real quick to the apartment house we own next door to make sure the tenant left it in good condition before moving out. This is when I found 66 cases of empty beer bottles AND half of his possessions still in the apartment. Wouldn't you have forgotten about the brownies, too? Let's just go back to my original statement: Tops makes a really nice cookie cake. Roll with the punches and enjoy this week's CC!

**Beaches are open! Kershaw & Onanda. Ready, set,go! **

**Farmer's Market is now at the summer location in the Mill Street Pavillion.  Every Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm **
