March 24, 2015 Canandaigua Connected ENewsletter

New Restaurant Alert! Flavors Indian Restaurant is here! I tried it last weekend and it is wonderful!  The owner, Manna, is a very nice man who told me he wants Canandaigua to know that not all Indian food is spicy and it can be made how you like it! Use these coupons to try it out for yourself! DELISH! So, Canandaigua has great Italian, Mexican, German, Chinese, Japanese, and now Indian flavors to add to our fine American cuisine establishments. Right on! Ps Let me know if you know of any new places moving in. I love to spread the word!

Ontario County Historical Museum....goes Wall-less!

We know it is not always easy to get to the museum - so they are coming to YOU! Click here to view the series of 2-3 minute vignettes on life in Canandaigua in the 1800's and other local history GEMS! My personal favorite is the most recent one posted on their YouTube Channel (Caroline Cowles Richards - a young Canandaigua girl's account from her personal diary the day General Lee surrendered to end The Civil War. This is vignette number 4 out of 12 that will be released weekly on their YouTube channel as well as on their FB page! This is a big win for OCHS! Kudos!
