HOME!!
Greetings to each and every one of you! I hope your spring has been an amazing one and that you have cultivated and brought something to life and fruition. It has been an amazing year for me so far.
I feel very impressed to talk with you about "home". I know that word means many things to each of you. This month, I will be traveling back to my hometown of Waterford, Michigan, which is right outside of Detroit. I have not been to my hometown since 2001, which of course is 15 years ago. I have felt the urge to go back there for I feel it's necessary to go back to your roots every now and then to get a sense of grounding. You see I feel that where one grows up is the start of their journey as a human being and as a soul. I was born in Ohio but moved to the Detroit area when I was 4, so I consider Michigan to be my home. It was the start of who I am and what I have become and what I am yet to be.
My Father was born and raised in the Detroit area also. As most of you know, my Father passed two years ago and I have made the decision to take his cremated remains back to his homeland and scatter them there. I feel this will bring him back to where he first stepped into the world and will bring closure for me and others on his passing. It will be an emotional experience for me but it will also be a ritual that will enlighten my soul.
Going home is always an emotional experience for me. It's brings back pleasant memories of childhood and growing up. I have very fond memories of home and these memories come flooding back to me as if they were yesterday when I visit there. I'm staying with a dear friend and I will also be demonstrating mediumship for her and a group of people she has invited into her home.
When I go home, I always think about the story of "The Wizard of Oz" which of course is one of my favorite books and I love all the movie versions that have been made of it. It's a story of a spiritual journey and finding out who you are and what you are capable of and what you have deep down in your soul that sometimes you don't realize is there.
There is a line from the movie version of "The Wiz" which was made in 1978. This is a "soul music" version of the Wizard of Oz and it has some remarkable and touching music in it. "Glinda the Good" was played by the fabulous Lena Horne. In the movie she states the following and it has stuck with me since the first time I heard it:
 Again, I feel it's necessary to visit home and regain that sense of who you are and where you come from, but I also believe you carry that power with you no matter where you are or where life takes you. My challenge to you this month is to find that "home" within yourself and tap into its power and intention. You will be amazed at that power and what it can manifest in your life. God bless all of you.

Progressive Mediumship Development Circle - June 23, 2016
This circle is designed for those that have been progressing in their mediumship. This circle will meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in Fort Worth, Texas. If you feel you are advancing in your mediumship, have an understanding of "sitting in the power of the spirit" and are willing to progress and work to "fine tune" your evidence from the spirit world, this circle will be for you. If you are uncertain about attending, please contact David to arrange a telephone discussion to determine if this circle is appropriate for you. This circle is not designed for beginner's. If you are just beginning your journey, please contact David about the Beginner's Mediumship Workshop Series. You may attend either one or both circles each month. The foundation for this circle will be active mental mediumship based on the principles of Spiritualism. We will work to bring forth evidence to prove survival after death. Once the evidence is validated, then you will work to bring the message that spirit has for the person receiving the information. Please be aware that we will not be doing trance mediumship, channeling nor producing physical phenomenon in this circle. We also do not discuss paranormal phenomenon. Also, each month, other's will be invited to attend as "sitters" for the mediums that are working. This circle will be done in a positive environment of love, caring and team work.
Cost for each session will be $20. Below are the times and locations this program is being offered in June:

An Evening of Mediumship with David Scott
