2016 is going to be an amazing year!!
Greetings and Happy New Year to one and all. I hope your holiday season was filled with surprises, blessings and most of all, love. I had an amazing year of opportunity in my professional life as well as personal. I was able to legally marry my spouse Paul which was so amazing to both of us. 2015 also brought me many challenges of growth in my own mediumistic development as well as opportunity to tutor others. My January had a very busy start, thus, I didn't send out a January newsletter.
I feel so blessed for my beginner's workshop series that I started this year is full for January/February. I will be offering this again in March/April. Scroll down to the workshops section of this newsletter for more information.
We are approaching Valentine's Day which of course is a time to spend with the one you love. I always think about the heart this time of year and that of course always brings me to the power of the heart chakra. Although all our chakras are necessary for any kind of psychic or spiritual work, the heart chakra is the most important.
 The Sanskrit word for the heart chakras is "anahata" which means; unhurt or place of openings. Anger is what causes a blockage in this chakra. The mantra for this chakra is "I am love". The heart chakra is the true bridge between the spiritual and the physical. The three lower chakras are the physical chakras, the upper three are the spiritual chakras. The heart bridges those two energies and assists in spirit communication. Without the heart, the medium is null and void as to why they do their work. I always urge those that I tutor, to really clear this chakra particularly before working. If we are holding anger or sorrow within this energy, it could inhibit us from working to our full potential. My spouse, Paul, bought me a heart chakra pendant for my 50th birthday and it's a piece I wear every day and never take off. I challenge you this month to sit in meditation and focus on the energy of the heart chakra. It will inspire you with love.
I will be doing a platform demonstration of mediumship this coming March in Waxahachie, Texas. Students of mine are opening a center there and have asked me to give a demonstration. Scroll down to my events section for more information and how to purchase tickets. Hope to see you there.
I will also be back at the Catfish Plantation Restaurant in Waxahachie as well in May, 2016 to give a demonstration of mediumship.

Progressive Mediumship Development Circle - February 11 & 21, 2016
This circle is designed for those that have been progressing in their mediumship. This circle will meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in Fort Worth, Texas. If you feel you are advancing in your mediumship, have an understanding of "sitting in the power of the spirit" and are willing to progress and work to "fine tune" your evidence from the spirit world, this circle will be for you. If you are uncertain about attending, please contact David to arrange a telephone discussion to determine if this circle is appropriate for you. This circle is not designed for beginner's. If you are just beginning your journey, please contact David about the Beginner's Mediumship Workshop Series. You may attend either one or both circles each month. The foundation for this circle will be active mental mediumship based on the principles of Spiritualism. We will work to bring forth evidence to prove survival after death. Once the evidence is validated, then you will work to bring the message that spirit has for the person receiving the information. Please be aware that we will not be doing trance mediumship, channeling nor producing physical phenomenon in this circle. We also do not discuss paranormal phenomenon. Also, each month, other's will be invited to attend as "sitters" for the mediums that are working. This circle will be done in a positive environment of love, caring and team work.
Cost for each session will be $20. Below are the times and locations this program is being offered in February:

"Embracing the Medium Within You"
Beginner's Mediumship Workshop Series - March/April 2016
I am very excited to offer a beginner's mediumship workshop series for those that are beginning their mediumistic unfoldment. My reason for this is to prepare those to work for spirit and to sit in a circle with other mediums who are progressing with their mediumship. I have found that when new people attend the circle, I haven't been able to work with them closely to help them understand the basics. This will be my focus for this series. The program will be 8 weeks in duration and I will ask students to commit to attend bi-weekly for 2 hours a week over this period. This series will take a progressive approach and will prepare the student for circle work and acting as a communicator for spirit. I will guide you through taking an in depth look at your own intuition and help you gain an understanding of how it applies to beginning your journey! Lectures will begin with a brief history of Spiritualism. The "perceptive states" will be discussed which will help you determine what your spiritual gifts are and how you can apply them to your mediumship. We will also discuss the mechanics of building energy, "sitting in the power" and the "blending" of your soul with that of the spirit world in order to obtain evidence of survival. There will be experiential exercises on the material covered and this will give the student the opportunity to work with these energies.

All sessions will begin promptly at 7pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings of the month for two months. Sessions are held in David's home and participants will be interviewed by phone as part of the enrollment process. This will help David understand your goals and where you currently are with your spiritual awareness.
Participation is limited to 12 students per series. This workshop is aimed at those who have an interest in exploring and developing the discipline of the course content. Suitable students may have some awareness of spirit and may even have felt able to give some level of evidence of survival, but this is not essential. The cost for this program is ONLY $100.00 with an 8 week commitment (4, bi-weekly sessions). A 50% deposit is required for enrollment with the remainder due before or on the first session of the workshop. Cancellations two weeks or less before the program begins will result in a forfeiture of the workshop deposit.
