"Being Black and Republican in the Age of Obama"

Karen Watson is one inspiring American who is fighting to get this country back to our conservative roots. During the 2008 presidential campaign she found many people assumed she supported Obama because she was African American.  The reality was like the rest of us she was disappointed and depressed when he won that year as well as another term in 2012. While as a high school student in 1984, Watson attended her first Republican National Convention and has remained active in the Republican Party. Watson communicates her message that "conservative values are the right values for all Americans, regardless of race or gender" She is Texas native born and raised in Dallas, Texas.  She is the Founder and President of GOPBuzz.com an Internet portal for Republican centric events nationwide, and she has written and self-published her first book, Being Black and Republican in the Age of Obama.
