Ottawa County Sheriff's Department, through our Township community deputy, offers a property check program for when you are away from home. This service is offered to deter potential burglars and provides additional security while your property is unoccupied.  Anyone may use the program, whether you are gone for a short time or a longer period. 

To request this service, please fill out the Property Check form at least a week prior to your departure. The form is attached below, and is available on the Township website, at Township Hall, or you may call Deputy Babcock at 616-738-4000 ext. *1483#.
