The Spring Lake Fire Department has been awarded a grant through the Spring Lake Rotary to purchase 50 smoke alarms.  Over the years the fire department has been able to provide free smoke alarms to the residents of Spring Lake Township and Village who either have faulty devices or have none in their home. This program was thanks to donations from local companies.  However, over the last few years many of these funding programs have been cut and our stock of smoke alarms has been depleted.  We are very grateful to the Spring Lake Rotary for their donation allowing us to reinstate the opportunity to once again provide a life saving device to those who need it at no cost to them.  If you have questions about smoke alarms or are in need of a device, you can contact the fire department at: 616-844-0491.
