Bike Paths
 bicycle image
Spring Lake Township has more than 25 miles of bike paths. To make them better for everyone who uses them, please follow these guidelines:

Dog owners - when you are using our beautiful bike paths, it is your responsibility to clean up after your dog(s). Your neighbors who live along the bike path should not have to clean up after YOUR DOG.

Everyone should be on their right hand half of the bike path - walkers, runners, boarders, bikers. This avoids possible accidents, especially at blind corners

Bikers, please call out to walkers and runners that you are approaching on a bike. It is difficult to hear approaching bicyclists and alarming when they pass without previous warning.

Thanks to everyone who enjoys our bike paths!

Recreation Commission Position

The Greater Spring Lake Recreation Commission is soliciting applicants for one at-large board member. This will be a 3-year term. Letters of interest are due by 3pm on September 24, 2014.
