Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Memorial Day ceremony at Spring Lake Cemetery a success. The cemetery looked wonderful, and the ceremony was a fitting tribute to those who sacrificed for their country.
Special thanks to Michelle Yasenak and the Heritage Festival committee, Eric Schindlbeck and his crew at the cemetery and the Boy Scouts who placed flags on the graves of veterans. Also, thanks to everyone who took the time to come to the cemetery to honor the veterans.

Grand River GreenUp
Rescheduled for June 1
WMEAC and the Grand Haven Area Jaycees have rescheduled the Grand River GreenUp for Saturday, June 1. Flooding conditions forced the postponement and flood waters have deposited vast amounts of debris on clean-up sites. The GreenUp is relocating and expanding this year with sites in Spring Lake, Ferrysburg and Grand Haven. Headquarters and registration will be located on Harbor Island. Registration begins at 9am, and the clean up runs from 9:30am to noon.
