Law Enforcement Services
Law enforcement services for residents of Spring Lake Township are provided by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department, not by the Village of Spring Lake. Deputy Sara Fillman is assigned as a Community Police Officer for the Township. She works closely with the community in a proactive effort to prevent crime and promote safety. She can be contacted with area patrol requests or other neighborhood concerns. To contact Deputy Fillman you may call the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office at 616-738-4000, ext. 1617 or e-mail her at sfillman@miottawa.org.
Residents of the Village of Spring Lake pay additional taxes to support the Spring Lake/Ferrysburg Police Department. Their services are only available to residents of the Village and the City of Ferrysburg.
If you have an emergency, call 911. Otherwise, if you have a police issue, contact the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.
