Advocates and Friends,
Thank you for the support of our mission!  We strive to build a culture of peace & belonging and we could not do that without the support of our community!  You are our community.  We appreciate your time, donations, and advocacy.  All of you are advocates, when you attend a program, read the enews, like us on Facebook or talk about the work we provide.  THANK YOU!

Car Show - September 21
It is not to late to sign up to volunteer!  We need your help.  Help direct traffic, park cars, run errands, work at an activity.  Free entry to the car show.  Shifts run a few hours from 6 am to 4 p.m.  We could also use your help by taking flyers to other car shows.  Contact Liana for more information. Read more at scvrjp.org.

SCVRJP in Idaho
SCVRJP Executive Director, Kris Miner, shared four workshops with the Idaho Juvenile Justice Association at their annual conference.  She shared on the topics of Underage Consumption, Teen Driving, School-based Restorative Justice and Victim Support.  Her blog Circle-space, features the powerpoints that guided her discussion.

Kris travels outside of St. Croix Valley to provide trainings, workshops and presentations.  The expenses are covered and payment for these services stay with SCVRJP.  The program designs and experiences were valuable to the implementation of Restorative Justice in Idaho.

Thank you Shelby, Andrea & Molly

Our summer interns finished with a Community Clean-up on August 29th.  The team this summer really helped out SCVRJP!  From the Night Out event in Ellsworth to the St. Croix County Fair, Heroin and Suicide Forum in Hudson, these girls helped support, promote and share the work of SCVRJP.  They helped organize and promote the Walk for Awareness.  We wish them all the best as they move on to employment, grad school and graduation!  THANKS NUGGETS!  We'll miss you!

Thank you for supporting our Annual Walk for Awareness.  Year 4 was another success.  We thank our sponsors, business donors and those of you that attended.

After careful consideration of many summer events, we have decided to move ahead the Walk for 2014.  Our 5th year's event will be held on June 7.  We hope the first Saturday in June is a great kickoff to summer.

Our fundraising committee is always looking for members to help out!  You don't have to join the board of directors to serve on this committee.  You can help with a specific event!  Please let us know if you are interested.  We would love your input.
