Unique Volunteer Opporunities

The individuals from our community who make up our volunteer base are pretty extraordinary. We do our best to offer support and connect with everyone we work with. One way to customize your volunteer experience is to get involved with different trainings, sessions and events!

Contact Liana at scvrjpevents@gmail.com for details or to sign up for any of these great volunteer options!

Keeping:

A continued need here at SCVRJP are volunteer Keepers for our Circle sessions! Keepers will receive a guidebook, individualized support, and be offered co-keeping opportunities during their structured training to build their Restorative Justice skill set! Volunteer Keepers must attend our quarterly two-day Circle Keeper Training.

about our Circle Keeper Training!

Car Show:

G.L.F. Production hosts an annual car show in downtown River Falls. This year our organization was chosen! Join us for a fun day of working at a 60's-themed car show on September 21st. Only a brief, half-hour training is required before the day of the event, and morning and afternoon shifts are available!

Internships:

Need an internship for your major or degree? SCVRJP offers internships to qualified local students each term. Send a volunteer application, cover letter and resume to Kris Miner at scvrjp@gmail.com or 215 N 2nd Street, Suite 108, River Falls, WI 54022.

Volunteer Perspective:

Offer your personal insight and experiences to others by sharing in our monthly newsletter. Volunteers will be asked to write a 200-word story on an experience they had at a Restorative Justice session or training.

Describe what you expected to happen, what happened, how you felt impacted and how you think others were impacted. Offer insight into the benefits of volunteering. Option to submit a small photo if you choose.
