Collegiate 4-H Club's "Gift of Thanksgiving" Benefits SNAC
 -
Nearly 200 participants were fed at the USU Extension Collegiate 4-H Club's second annual Thanksgiving dinner for students and faculty Nov. 18 in the atrium of the Agricultural Sciences Building. The event was a benefit for the Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC), an assistive food and nutrition program for USU students and the Cache Valley community.
Those who attended were encouraged to bring at least two cans of non-perishable food items to be donated to SNAC, and approximately 450 cans were donated. Collegiate 4-H club funds were used to provide the dinner, and a local farmer donated two turkeys and a ham for the meal.
