Resolution Passed in Honor of Dallas Hanks
 - A resolution was passed this month by Salt Lake County regarding the work Dallas Hanks did in the county. Click here to read the resolution, which was given to Hanks' brother, Scott. Ralph Whitesides, JayDee Gunnell, Heidi Thompson and Mike Morgan were also in attendance at the meeting. Hanks was director of USU Extension's Center for Agronomic and Woody Biofuels, and died June 25 after a four-year battle with cancer.

Higginbotham Secures $2.4 Million Contract
 - Brian Higginbotham, Extension associate vice president, recently secured a contract for $2.4 million to support parenting and relationship classes in Utah. The contract is in partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS) and runs through June 2017. Click here to read the story.

New 4-H Livestock Record App Available
 - Paul Hill, USU Extension assistant professor, in collaboration with the National 4-H Council, Tractor Supply and the NMSU Learning Games Lab has developed a new mobile app for 4-H livestock record keeping.
