|Vegetable Production and Pest Management Guide Available |
The first ever Utah Vegetable Production and Pest Management Guide is now available as a pdf on the USU Extension Integrated Pest Management website. Click here to see it.
The guide includes general chapters on vegetable production practices; soil, nutrient and water management; IPM practices; pesticides; and in-depth chapters on tomato, pepper, eggplant, onion, and sweet corn. Also included are images and tables with planting and pest management recommendations. It will include additional vegetable crops and production techniques in future editions.
If you need to learn a tech skill or new software program, one of the best places to go is Lynda.com. There are other free places you can try, but you will waste a lot of time sifting through bad tutorials while trying to find the good ones. Extension recently purchased subscriptions to Lynda.com. This means anybody can use it but only five people can use it simultaneously. Click here to see a short video that explains it. If you have further questions, contact Dennis Hinkamp.
