Tech and Writing Tips

  • Don't forget that a scanner really is a camera. You can make inanimate objects look more interesting on the scanner. For best results, do this in a place where you can make the room completely dark. Place the items on the scanner, select your settings, turn off the lights and click "scan."   • Food and Farm Tourism Workshop - June 2-3, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the UNCE Office, 8050 Paradise Road, Suite 100, Las Vegas. Co-sponsored by USU Extension and University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.

    Cost for the workshop is $40 and includes all materials, continental breakfast and lunch each day, as well as the agritourism tour on Tuesday. Contact Kynda Curtis for further information. Click here to register.
