USU Extension Utah Building Farmers Program - "Food Safety Begins on the Farm" Workshop held Wednesday, November 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the USU Botanical Center in Kaysville.
The workshop covers food safety and traceability plans, such as Good Agricultural Practices, identifying and prioritizing potential risks, as well as developing standard operating procedures. Speakers include USU Extension faculty and local growers.
Registration cost is $20 per farm/ranch (2 people) at door. RSVP to Kynda Curtis by noon on Tuesday, November 5. Registration fee includes dinner and all materials.
