Interactive Video Conference
  • IVC Presentation - Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 9 to 10 a.m. Food Myths: Fact or Fiction? Presented by Karin Allen, Extension food quality and entrepreneurship specialist.

We've all heard advice for storing, washing and preparing different types of foods. But which suggestions are based on fact, and which can be ignored? This presentation will explain the chemistry, microbiology and physics of these recommendations.

Registration deadline: Noon, Friday, Sept. 20. Click here to register. Please register one time for each IVC location. The event will be recorded for viewing at a later date.

Natural Resources Field Days

Students at Utah State University provide more than 600 hours of volunteer teaching time. NR Days continues September 16 - 20. Contact Brian Greene for further information.

Tech Tip
  • There is more good news about free stuff. In reality, Adobe Connect has always been "free" for Extension, since employees were grandfathered in. However for the last two years if you went to the Connect page, you were greeted with a scary fee schedule. As of August 30, it is now clearly free to all USU faculty and staff and there is an excellent menu of tutorials. Click here for more information.
