Pasture Symposium July 30-31 

  • A Pasture Symposium will be held July 30 at the

    USU Eccles Science Learning Center and July 31 at the USU Intermountain Irrigated Pasture Research Facility near Lewiston, Utah. Topics include the benefits of grass-legume mixtures, tannins and other secondary compounds, meat quality and palatability of grass-finished beef, pasture establishment and maintenance, animal health in grazing systems and more.

  • Adobe Creative Suite (CS6) Software Site-license Now Available!

     

    Information Technology is pleased to announce the signing of a site-license agreement with Adobe Corporation making available many of the Adobe products to all University faculty and staff at no additional cost, installable on any University-owned computer. To obtain the download file and the licensing key, click here and add the Adobe products to your shopping cart.

     

    In the coming weeks, Information Technology will also provide University personnel with access to the Adobe Home Use Program. This program allows faculty and staff to individually purchase and install the Adobe Creative Cloud (CS6 - Master Collection) on their personal (home) computer. The cost for home use will be approximately $10/year.

  • USU Extension Sustainability and Community Rebuilds offer two permaculture workshops - One in Logan Sept 27 - 28 and another in Moab Sept. 30 - Oct. 1.  Permaculture expert Joel Glanzberg hosts the all-day training. Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Registration has begun and is limited. Click here to register.
