The USU Botanical Center Farmers Market in Kaysville will open July 18 and continue on Thursday evenings through October 3. The market offers the best in local vegetables and fruit, baked goods, art, unique handmade items, children's activities, and educational opportunities in a friendly and fun environment. Sweet corn, squash, beans, and other vegetables will be available at the first market on July 18. Market hours are 5pm-8pm.
Patrons of this year's market will find several options to cool off in the summertime including Holly's Homemade Lemonade, Sghetti's Italian Ice, and USU Aggie Ice Cream, sold in a variety of flavors. Come to the market on July 18th and enjoy free taste testing of six different flavors of Aggie Ice Cream.

Meet the New Garden Managers |
We are pleased to welcome Susie Jones and Dede Corrales (formally Shupe) as our new garden managers and to let everyone know how excited we are to have them as a part of our team. Designing new gardens and directing their care is a hugely important job and we're very glad to have these two skilled and creative women on board.

Explore The Garden Family Night: Cupcake Night

Monday, July 29, 6:30 pm - 8 pm
Bring the entire family to the Utah House and learn how to decorate cupcakes like a pro. This delicious event will be held in the Utah House kitchen where professional cake decorator Torrey Woolsey will demonstrate fun decorating techniques and share some new recipes too. Come explore the wonderful, slimy, wet, magic and beautiful world of nature at the USU Botanical Center this summer! Whether your young adventurer would be at home in Enchanted Fairy Garden Camp, Water World, Wild Wilderness Art Camp, or exploring physics and wildlife at Angry Birds Camp, be assured that each camp is designed for a particular age group and is full of fun, hands-on experiments for investigating the world in which we live.
