Vegetable Planting Dates

Are you ready to grow that vegetable garden you've looked forward to all winter? Although each season has its unique weather conditions, all vegetables have an average planting time that gets them off to their best start. The average date of the last spring frost will vary with location and elevation. For more information on freeze dates and Utah's climate, click here. USU Extension Professor Shawn Olsen provides the average last frost for every city located along or near the Wasatch Front as well as the average planting date for every vegetable.
